This collection began at Seattle's Emerald City Comic Con in 2012, where Dolby Von Luckner (see #11) was taking requests for free sketches at his table. When I got to the front of the line, I suddenly realized that I had neglected to think about what I should ask him to draw. Luckily, my mouth just took over and said "James K. Polk riding a triceratops."
The rest, as they say, is historical fiction.

**Except maybe for Ryan North, who tried to assure me several times that I really, really didn't want him to try to draw anything. But I really did, so he did, and it was amazing.
